Controlled Burn

When we learned that Craic Sauce ages some of their hot sauce in barrels we knew we needed to try something fun and different. This mead was born from a desire to experiment and collaborate.

The tropical heat wave in this bottle is the result of aging a passion fruit mead in a Craic Sauce barrel, specifically Brian Boru’s Curry. Using sweet and tart fruit to rein in untamed heat yielded this controlled burn you can sip and enjoy with anyone brave enough to share that space beside you.
