|Style:||Melomel (cranberries and honey)|
|Profile:||Semi-sweet, cranberry tartness|
In June, when the delicate cranberry blossoms are emerging, honey bees are darting around the bogs to ensure that they develop into tart and juicy cranberries. The bees have done their part, and we have done ours. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the refreshing tartness of these Massachusetts cranberries artfully balanced with honey in this cranberry mead.
Bog is part of our Radius Series where we strive to source as many ingredients as possible within as small a radius from the meadery as possible. This mead is made with cranberries from the bogs of Old Earth Orchards in Taunton Massachusetts.
The painting on the label is by Kimberly Beauregard (ArtistKimB) of Holyoke, MA. We felt it captured the spirit and colors of fall in the cranberry bogs perfectly and are delighted to be able to display her work on our bottle. If you are interested in more of her work you can find it at her ArtistKimB Etsy Page.
